with another son on the way. Madden is due Sept.
9th. He is currently deployed with 3/25 Lima Co.,
in Iraq. Hoping to make it home in time to watch
his child's birth, continue with his music, as
well as obtain a degree towards furthering his
opportunities in the civilian world. |

Hey everyone,
Its almost over. I am out of here very soon and I cannot
wait. I have been running everyday on the 10th deck of
the dam to try to wear myself out. I have so much nervous
energy that I can hardly stand still anymore. It has helped
me quite a bit really. Anyway I hope that everyone is
doing well and I will see you all soon. If nothing else
know that I will be out of harms way in just a short time.

Hello again, time is ticking closer to that wonderful
day of getting out of here. Not much more time and we
will all be coming home. I can't wait to get out of here.
Just praying that I make it in time for my sons birth.
I know Laura wants him out just as much as I am sure he
is about ready to get out of such a tight place. We all
know that any son of mine is more than likely not going
to be a small one. We shall see.. Anyway I hope that this
note finds everyone doing good. Know that I think about
you all daily and can't wait to see you all.

The coundown continues... Slowly but surely the days become
shorter and I will be returning home. I can't wait to
flip the finger to this country and tell it to kiss my
ass. Once again thank you to everyone for all of the support,
I can't wait until we can hang out again. Before I know
it this will all be a distant memory. Soon I will have
a beautiful new son and hopefully be able to greet him
as he enters this world. Love you all.

Thanks for the notes. It is good hear from all of you.
I am doing good, but will be thankful when this is all
over. Anyway Dave (Sr.), I would be grateful to you, for
a little peaceful getaway. David (jr), Don't worry I will
take you up on the offer of Steak and beer. Kristen, thanks
for your support and give the boys a hug and kiss for
me. Jason and Amanda, I hope all is well with yor new
child and make sure that you tell Rylan I am good and
give him my love. Janice, you have been awesome, thanks
for all of your love and support. Amber, thanks for your

I wrote one out here. Give the twins my love. Christian,
Hugs and kisses hope you are being good. Matt, hope you

I will be home when the baby comes out. Lastly but certainly

you. I am so proud of you and how well you have done through

Hey everyone,
Thank you for all of your messages. It warmed my disturbed
heart to hear from all of you. Brought tears to my eyes
to be exact. Anyway I am ok. Physically fine, mentally
a little disturbed, but I assume it will be like this
for a while. I will be leaving this God Forsaken country
on the 31st of Aug. I should not be leaving the Dam again
until then. I am fine and the Lord is with me. "What
time I am afraid I will trust in thee." Praise God
I am alive and will see you all soon. I love you all and
thank God for such great family and friends.

Thanks for writing me so often. It is good to hear from
everyone and I am thankful that I have so many friends
and family that love me and support me so. It is almost
over and I can finally say that I am coming home soon.

I may make it home in time to see Madden's birth so pray
that it all works out. As you may well know, everything
is subject to change in the Marine Corps. Lets just hope
that nothing changes. Everything is going well here except
that it is hot as hell. Nothin I can do about that though.

Son,
Your dad and I went to the family day today in Columbus
and just found out about this wonderful way to stay in
touch.
Your baby sister is singing in Wisconsin today and will
not be home until Aug. 25th.
You can not imagine how proud your dad and I are of you
and your brother Aaron. We can't wait to have you home
and by the grace of God it will be before your new son's
birth.
It will be wonderful to have all four of our children
on American soil once again.
May Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ continue to have
HIS angels all about you.

not going to awfully horrible for you. I just wanted to
update you on how much everyone misses you and can't wait
for your safe return home. I can't wait for baby Madden
to come. I'm sure he is going to be absolutely beautiful.(Plus,
as expected, Laurie, is completely ready for him to come
as you can imagine. Do me a favor, next time, don't go
anywhere. Anyways, I heard the great news that you will
be getting back into the states a little earlier than
expected. That's great to hear! Conner, Caden, and I all

We went to Elaine's big 30 last night. Everyone was asking
about you and wishing you the best. We got to see shawn
too. We were all talking about not being able to wait
to hang out with you again! We are all so excited that
you get to come home soon. Especially your overly pregnant
wife! She has been so strong and brave here although the
distance between you two is killing her. She loves you
so much....trust me I am told atleast a zillion times
a day! I cant wait to see you Craig. You are such a special
